Genesee Fire Rescue's 2025 Slash Collection Event is now complete! 

Thanks to the participation and efforts of our community, we have been able to significantly reduce fire hazards and promote a safer environment for everyone. We had participants from Genesee Foundation, Genesee Village, and others in and around the Genesee Fire Protection District!

If you missed us this year, please note that Jefferson County is accepting slash drop off at the Tincup Ridge Slash Yard on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays through October 26, 2025. For more information please visit the Jefferson County Slash Collection site.  Together, we can continue to protect our community from wildfire risks.
