Call to Order

Attendance and Explanation of Absences

Board Members in Attendance: Scott Mefford, Nancy Balter, Susan Eagle, Patti Harris Board Members Excused: JP Brewer Also attending: Will Quimby, Alan Matlosz 

Bond Opportunities and Cost Estimate for Bonding

Alan Matlosz reviewed the general procedures associated with municipal bonding. 

Status of Engineering Work and Cost Estimate for Building the Route

Will Quinby reviewed the current status of the project and estimated cost. 

Potential Consolidation Issues

Scott Mefford presented various scenarios and associated projected costs that we need to be prepared for.  This will be consideration when we consider how much funding to ask voters for. 

Other Potential Funding Sources

Will Quinby and Gary Anderson have agreed, if asked, to look for additional funding sources.  However, they will begin only after the GFPD Board has committed to an election. 

GFPD Revenue by HOA

Nancy Balter reviewed the meeting with Genesee Foundation Board members. 

Election Schedule for a May Election

We will ask Kathryn Winn for an updated schedule.  Since the costs associated with building the road will continue to go up, the sense of the Board was to work toward a May election if we decide to move forward. 

The Board agreed that Directors Mefford and Balter could meet with our counsel to further understand legal issues.
